Privacy Policy

YardStacks is a scheduling and business-management app for lawn care and yard-service operators ("you," "the operator"). This policy explains what information we collect from you as a user of the app, and how it's handled.

If you enter information about your own clients — their names, contact details, or job history — into YardStacks, you're doing so as the business owner responsible for that data. You're the one who collected it from your customers in the course of running your business, and you remain responsible for your own obligations to them. We just store it securely on your behalf so the app works.

Information we collect

• Account information — the email address and password you use to sign in. Sign-in is handled by our database provider, Supabase; we never see your password in plain text.
• Business data you enter — your clients' names, phone numbers, email addresses, and property addresses; job details, pricing, and payment records you keep for your own bookkeeping.
• Location — only while you're actively using the app, and only to center the daily route map and order your stops. We never collect your location in the background or when the app is closed.
• Payment information — if you subscribe to YardStacks Pro, your card is processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

What we don't do

• We don't show ads, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers of any kind.
• We don't sell your data, or your clients' data, to anyone — ever.
• We don't read, store, or transmit the text messages or emails you send to your clients. When you tap to let a client know a job is done, YardStacks simply opens your phone's own Messages or Mail app with the message pre-filled — you review and send it yourself, from your own number or address, the same way your phone already sends texts and emails.

Who we share data with

We use two service providers to run the app, and neither is permitted to use your data for anything beyond providing these services to us:

• Supabase — securely stores your account and business data.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments if you upgrade to Pro.

Data retention & deletion

Your data stays in your account for as long as you use YardStacks. To delete your account and all associated data, email us at Jacob.Metcalf@appomatix.com and we'll remove it within 30 days.

Children

YardStacks is a business tool intended for adults running a service business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
